Ingredients

  • 1-1/2 lbs. ground beef
  • 9 slices American cheese
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 18 pickle chips
  • 3 Tbsp. mustard
  • 3 Tbsp. ketchup
  • 1 Tbsp. sesame seeds
  • 2 Tbsp. butter, melted
  • 1 package KING’S HAWAIIAN Original Hawaiian Sweet Slider Buns
  • 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp. kosher salt
  • 1/2 tsp. ground black pepper
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 Tbsp. canola oil
  • 9 skewers

Directions

  1. Butter inside of top and bottom bun using 3 tablespoons of butter. Toast on a griddle until golden brown.
  2. In a bowl, mix ground beef, Worcestershire, garlic, salt, and pepper. Form into nine 3-inch-wide patties of equal size and thickness.
  3. Fold cheese slices in half and then in half again to make four even pieces. Use four pieces per slider.
  4. Preheat grill to medium high.
  5. Brush the tops and bottoms of the sliders with oil to prevent them from sticking. Place the sliders on the grill and cook for 5 minutes.
  6. Flip sliders and cook for 3 minutes.
  7. Top with two pieces of cheese and cook for 2 more minutes.
  8. Remove from grill and rest for 2 minutes for medium.
  9. Place two pieces of cheese on the bottom bun.
  10. Top with slider.
  11. Top with two pickle chips.
  12. Top with ketchup, mustard, and chopped onions. Place on top bun.
  13. Brush top of buns with melted butter and sprinkle with sesame seeds. Secure each slider with a skewer.
