  • 2 cans (12 oz.) NESTLÉ® CARNATION® Evaporated Milk
  • 1 can (14 oz.) NESTLÉ LA LECHERA Sweetened Condensed Milk
  • 3 large egg yolks
  • 2 tsp. ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp. ground nutmeg
  • Rum (optional)
  • Whipped cream (optional)


  1. Whisk together evaporated milk, sweetened condensed milk, egg yolks, cinnamon and nutmeg in medium saucepan.
  2. Cook over medium heat, stirring frequently, for 7 to 10 minutes or until mixture coats the back of a wooden spoon. Do not allow mixture to boil.
  3. Remove from heat; serve warm with rum or topped with whipped cream, if desired.

Eggnog thickens as it cools. To thin the consistency, add milk.
